In an effort to get you some cool pictures of Indore Landmarks, our photographer Mahendra Singh went to Rajwada and got some great pictures of this indore landmark for you. Rajwada is located at junction of MG Road and Prince Yeshwant Road in Indore. It is one of the oldest palace of Holkar era. Rajwada is made up of two words - Raj means Royal and Wada means a place to hang out. Rajwada was the royal palace where Holkar dynasty rules used to live, hangout and rule. Beautification of Rajwada was done some years ago when these trees were planted at the front gate of Rajwada.
Rajwada Indore is in the center of Indore city dowtown where large crowds are shopping, eating, hanging out and having fun. On one side of rajwada is Gopal mandir, Ada Bazaar, Sarafa, Kasera Bazaar is located. On the other side, Khajuri Bazaar and new Rajwada market is located. M G Road - the longest street in Indore is right here. In front of Rajwada is Rajwada Udhyan (garden) which also has a statue of Her highness Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar - the Maharani of Indore from Holkar era. Trackback(0)
