Christian community in the city has inaugurated rituals on Mother Marium’s birth anniversary celebration. The Catholic Church has asked devotees to offer grains in place of garlands, flowers and Sarees to the Holy Mother.

The grain, thus collected, will be distributed among poor and needy families in the city. Another appreciable decision the Church took is that it will not take the procession out of the Church premises, to avoid any traffic jam in the city.
