Indore Zoo: One of the easily accessible, cheap, family oriented fun place to be this weekend.

If you have not visited the Indore zoo yet, then you must. Indore's famous Kamal Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya - Or Indore Zoo is one of the most comprehensive collection of wild life in India.

Indore zoo has some of the specialy brought up animal species like White Tigress, with her cubs. Birds, Animals, amphibians, carnivores and omnivores all are here to give you a smiling day.

The Indore Zoo is a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to the reproduction, protection, and exhibition of animals, plants, and their habitats in Indore. In the recent years Indore zoo has been in news for all the bad reasons, but still, its worth visiting once.

Indore Zoo is located on A B Road between Naulakha and Chhawni. Its easily accessible from Bhawarkua and Palasia via Agra Bombay national highway.

The ticket for Indore zoo is very minimal, and for 100 Rs. you can have a great family picnic at the zoo. For kids, the zoo (Chidiya Ghar) also has buggy rides, goad cards, pony rides, elephant rides, camel rides and more. A restaurant and icecream parlor, a playground and many other amenities to have a funfilled family day at Indore Zoo.
