"For many years i thought sensex was a birth control pill!", Said Karan Johar while heading a panel discussion at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachussets. {mosimage} Karan Johar, The famous director of movies Kuch kuch hota hai, K3G, KANK and the owner of Dharma Productions was speaking on the topic of "Media entertainment in India - the Good, The Bad, the ugly". This panel also had Jaspreet Bindra, Director of Online services, Microsoft India and Ajay Vidyasagar, Head of Content division, STAR TV India. Karan went on to mention how Indian Media and Cinema has changed over the years and is ready for a big leap. Some of the movies he mentioned have made a change happen were Aamir's Dil Chahta hai, Lagaan, SRKS's Kuch Kuch hota hai, Chak De India,Rang De Basanti and the very recent Taare Jameen Par. Johar also mentioned that apart from SRK, his next favorite actor is Aamir Khan. He expects TJPar to go for Oscar this year. While taking a quick titbit on the Hollywood movies he said, "In India we have mother, not therapist...." STAR Head and Microsoft directors shared their views of Media and Entertainment in India and how the things are changing at a rapid pace.
