Amir Khan kept mum on the much publicised rue with Chetan Bhagat on 3idiots script. He just cleared his stance by saying that I am an actor only and have played the role per script requirements. Other cast like R. Madhwan, Sharman Joshi and musician Swanand Kirkire were also among the crew. Aamir expressed his regret on Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s "shutting-up" of press.

He welcomed the press with smile and assured them of not repeating the verbatim and even talked about Vidu’s repent after this incident and his apologies after the incident. On the Chetan’s objections and statements Amir Khans said that the Chetan has been duly contracted for his contribution in the film. "The script has been discussed with Chetan Bhagat and he had totally agreed with it" says Aamir.

Aamir also shoed the agreement signed by Bhagat to the press. Regarding non-payment issue he clearly said that Bhagat is lying if he is saying so.
