The traffic police and its crane was on its usual spree to pick vehicles from no parking zone. It picked one bike from Jail road and was on its way to the station when the owner of the bike chased it down in mid way. He was accompanied by his friends. He got the crane halted and tore the cop uniform, and broke his teeth out. The Traffic cop Tahseeldar s/o Moharsingh Goojar was assigned a duty with traffic crane (recovery van) MP-09 JE 1384. In the noon of Saturday he picked a bike from no parking zone at Jail Raod and loaded in the crane to move to the police station premise. They had hardly reached to Nayapura corner when two youth reached there on another bike. They got the crane stopped and attempted to get their bike back. When the cop tried to stop them they exercised power and started beating him. The tore his uniform and beat him on the face so bitterly that he got two of his teeth in hand. The two dare devils have been booked under various cases including Threat to Kill, Beating, Abusing and Interfering in Government work. God knows how the police would have retaliated afterwards.
