Traffic jams have become a common scene in growing Indore. The same was experienced again on Friday, Christmas, when people thronged on the streets to converge at the celebration points and got embroiled into traffic jams. It was so at many places in the city on Friday evening. Christmas, Mehandi Night and ferrymen and hand carts furter added to the troubles. Hundreds of people suffered hours of jam in the city. There were no traffic arrangements from Malwa Mill to Patnipura and Bhamori road where the situation was just a chaos on Friday. There was huge crowd gathering at the Church nearby Aastha Talkies and sales man and ferry-cars were all set not to budge a bit from their positions. The street was pack with fruit and vegetable sellers, city vans and City buses. The same was the tragic drama at Krishnpura, Rajbara, Gorakund and Jawahar Marg. This is often a case at many places in the city. City administration need to take the situation in hand and make special traffic arrangements on such occasions to spare citizens from unnecessary troubles.
