Rakesh Srivastava replaces Vivek Agrawal as Collector of Indore. (effective 16 June, 2008). R.K Chowdhary replaces Anshuman Yadav as SP of Indore city. (effective 14 June, 2008). IAS Rakesh Shrivastava is the 26th Collector of Indore. He took charge on Monday at 2:35 PM. On this occasion, ADM Ramesh Bhandari, Upper Collector Renu Pant and District Panchayat CEO Maheshchandra Chowdhary presented ex-Collector Vivek Agrawal with a momento. Rakesh Srivastava compared Vivek Agrawal to a batsman who has hit three centuries- because Agrawal has completed 3 succesful years. He says Indore has all the features of being an international city, but we have to plan and act towards it. Collector is a good friend with new SP R. K. Chowdhury, and they said Indore citizens are very active and can make this happen.
