More than 300 professors from 9 government colleges in Indore gathered at Rajbada at 7 in the evening and lit candles as their torches of protests. It be noted that these professors are on strike for a week now demanding improved pay scales per UGC norms.  They circled round the Ahilya statue, chanted Raghupati Raghav Rajaram and prayed almighty to bestow wisdom on government. The protest was attended by Dr. Suresh Silawat, Dr. Manju Sharma, Pro. R. S. Maheshwari, Dr. R. C. Dixit, Dr. Ashok Jain.
