The first day of New Year 2010 was the most shivering so far in Indore. The temperature had fallen to 8.4 degree Celsius on Thursday-Friday night. This was the coolest night of the season. Last year temperature on 31st December was 9.4 degree. The whole Friday was full of cool bridges. The highest temperature was recorded to be 23.4 degree which is 3 degree below the normal. The temperature on Wednesday night was 12.2 degree which had fallen by 4 degree on Thursday. Temperature at Khargone has been recorded to be the lowest in the region i.e. 7.8 degree. The Weather Department is anticipating further drop in the temperature in next few days. The temperature at night has reached to as low as 1.1 degree in December. If we look at the records of last 100 years temperature then the temperature has not fallen to this extent except on 27th December 1936.
