Heavy cracker busting will pollute the whole environment for next few days in the city and raise health risk for many. Crackers busting raise level of polluting substances like Sulfur, Nitrogen K Oxide, Carbon Mono Oxide, Copper, Magnesium, in the air which, when breathed in, increases chances of blood pressure related problems. This information was provided by Dr. Dilip Waghela, Chief Scientist at M. P. Pollution Control Board. He was addressing a workshop on eco-Diwali at Bal Niketan Sangh, Pagnispaga, organized by Environment Protection Research and Development Centre.
