Congress Candidate - Pankaj Sanghvi

Pankaj Sanghvi is not an unknown entity for Indore. He has a rich political history from his college days and has been in news since. He has been away from active politics for past few years, though. To instil the excitement in young bloods and confidence in his party’s faith in his candidacy Sanghvi had initiated his election campaign with the bollywood celebrity, young craze, Salman Khan. Sanghvi is promising a massive development spree in Indore after his succeeding as Mayor of the Indore. He declares to complete the BRTS project at a rapid pace which has been lingering for long now. He is even proposing start of Metro Train and Mono-rail projects in the city as his dream projects. Pankaj Sanghiv seems to have done his homework well on what a developed city really needs and accordingly has drafted his election agenda. He has included Intercity Bus Terminal, a multilevel parking station, and no-vehicle zone around the city is among his projections for the city. He is also well aware about the water crisis in the city and has given it sufficient importance in his agenda. He also talks about three water filter plant to and a more developed system to connect all developing colonies with drainage system. He has in fact not left a single issue that the citizens are expecting from their new Mayor. He has also addressed citizens’ concern for pollution issues, slums removal and safety among others.

Pankaj Sanghvi has very strong experience in campaigning from his past years in politics and has immediately created an aura in the environment with his potential candidacy for the Mayor-ship in Indore. A group of Vaishya societies like Agrawal, Jain, Gujarati, Marwadi, Maheshwari and others are said to be supporting Sanghvi in this election.

BJP Candidate - Krishna Murari Moghe

BJP candidate for Indore’s Mayor position has been an active candidate of RSS, the Sangh. Most of the citizens are hearing this name only first time though. Moghe is said to be aware of city and citizens very well. He knows what, where and how of Indore very well and has lived the problems himself. Moghe is said to be an staunch enemy of racism. He has been a loyal activist of Sangh for many years and has even spent days with tribal while working for their betterment. He has joined RSS at age of 10 and has never parted with the cause since. His supports say, on his comparatively less popularity in city, that Moghe has always believed in workmanship and silent services.

Moghe has been struggling for the rights and welfare of common man in the city. Those who are associated with the Sangh are well aware of the strong ethics and standing of Moghe in his orbit. By virtue of his long association with the RSS and active participation in honest politics in the city, he has a say in all crucial departments and public affairs in the city.

Krishna Murari Moghe, may not be a known personality for common Indorian but he leaves an impression of being one of their family member when he meets them. The soft speaking, sober nature and simple looking personality, Moghe’s honest visage makes people believe his words.
