Considering growing traffic requirements in the city, new traffic system is being introduced. Vehicles would not be allowed to pass from Janjeerwala square towards A.B.Road (Industry House), these vehicles will have to route through Palasia, Goma ki Fel, MIG police station to A.B. Road. All heavy vehicles including trucks will be restricted to enter Eastern Ring-road. Some of the roads will be converted into one-way paths. The system needs to be approved by the Collector, now. This new system was to be applied from DhanTeras but will now be implemented immediate after Dipawali. DSP Traffic Anjana Tiwari informed that the road from Industry House to Janjeerwala square has hospitals, hotel and 5 other multi-story buildings which create a lot of vehicle-traffic there and cause jams through out the day. The residents had been complaining of this problem for long time.
