Just like the famous fairs of Bhopal and Gwalior, Indore Utsav will also need to be made equally famous and fabulous. These were the thoughts shared by the veteran socialist and Bhaskar group’s chairman Ramesh Chandra Agrawal. He was inaugurating Indore Utsav – 2009. Women have been given discounts to set their stalls, which is a great initiative to bring them up and ahead in the society and make them independent. The fair has begun at Poddar Plaza and will continue till next four days. The chief guest also suggested to increase its period, though. A great number of visitors were received on the first day it self. People enjoyed shopping exotic materials and entertainment programs. Total 190 stalls have been set in the fair from different states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Aasam, W. Bengal and also from Madhya Pradesh. The food zone is full of Malwa’s famous disease like Chhole-bhature, Chaat, Makka ki Roti and Sarso ka Saag. The fair will be open from 11 to 11 till 28th of December.
