Nandanagar School has become a animal habitat!
A 4 crore rs. project - the Nandanagar school is being used to tie cows and buffalo, other cattle as it awaits for formal inauguration. Currently kids are sitting in a old building where water drops are falling from everywhere. The new school is ready for last 2 years, but no one has time to start operations there.
Nijamuddin Express from Indore did not run for last 24 days!
Indore-Hajrat Nijamuddin Intercity Express was cancelled again - 23rd time. As informed earlier, due to the Gurjar revolution in the Rajasthan area, the train has not been running since 24th May. All the passengers who had planned to travel, or regularly travel, have been frustrated due to this. Another train to Delhi, Malwa Express, is already having a long wait list.None of the railway officer has any answers on when the train will start. It all depends on the gurjar aandolan, and the steps are required for the safety of the passengers.Sumitra Mahajan has demanded for 24 coaches in Malwa express to resolve the problem of travellers. Railway GM A.K. Jheengaran has not responded with a reply to that request yet.
Indore flooded due to heavy monsoon.
Many areas in Indore are suffering flooding issues due to heavy rains. Banganga area and neighbourhood like Karmanagar has almost 50 families whose house is filled with water due to heavy rain. YadavNand nagar has all its roads and parks look like ponds due to high water blockage. Radhakrishna Nagar, Gangabaag, Ganeshbag, Shraddadham, kushwah Srinagar, Jagadish nagar and many other colonies in the vicinity are affected.
UMTA to be formed in MP for Public TransportationIndore. To redefine and innovate the public transportation system in a better manner, the UMTA- Urban Mass Transport Authority is being created. This organization will be the rules and regulatory body for Urban Public transportation. It will decide things like ticket rates, state level regulations and helping local bodies and systems. UMTA will work for Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur city in the beginning. Presided by Chief Minister Shivraj Sinh Chouahan, UMTA will have offciers from Police, municipla corporation etc. It will be up and running within 2 months. Meanwhile its noteworthy that due to increasing rates of diesel and petrol, more and more people are turning towards public transportation for relief and this will increase user's expectations from the services.
Factory Owner Shot and Robbed on Sanver Road Indore.At 11:30 am on June 14th, about 1 km from German tool room on sanwer road 2 bikers shot a factory owner on Sanwer road in Indore. The businessman was robbed of money but it has not been clarified how much because of his medical conditions. Businessmen Devendra- aka Piyush Doshi has a plastic grinding factory on Sanwer road. At about 11 am he left for the factory, and was overtook by 2 masked thugs, then shot on resisting. Nearby factory owner Kamlesh Sharma saw him and called others for help and took Devendra to the hospital. Sanwer road is a very active crime area and these kind of accidents happen quite often. On 3rd Feb, a person was robbed at the tip of knife. One 16th feb, thugs had robbed a bus, 7 cars, a tanker, 2 trucks and a matador. On 13th april also similar event has happened.
IDA Scheme No. 56, 62 Survey completed. Reports underway.Indore Development Authority's new plot scheme 56/62 survey is over and now the report is getting final touches. The scheme is in Shankarbaug area. Per some sources IDA is interested in building a commercial complex on this land, and rest to be sold on good commercial rates, this being a great location in center of the city.
Medical Student Ajita Pradeep Srivastava Commited Suicide23 year old Ajita Pradeep Srivastava, who was a Physiotherapy student at the MGM college in Indore committed suicide on Tuesday afternoon. She locked herself in her room and hung herself on the rope. Mother Suman Srivastava kept shouting but she didn't open the door. When neighbours helped break the door they found her body hanging from the roof. Heeranagar Police has sent the corpse for postmortem.
Ajita has written a suicide note in which she takes responsibility for all her actions. She said that her family must not be tortured for her acts. Ajita was a merit holder in 10th standard, and was always a brilliant student.
Big FM Indore has appointed Viplove Gupte as Director- Programming.
He would be
responsible for strengthening the programming offerings of the FM player and
also ensuring a wholesome entertainment mix to listeners across the Big FM
network. Prior to joining Big FM, Gupte had led the programming team of My FM as
National Programming Head, where he was instrumental in the launch of its 16
stations.
In his 14-year career span, Gupte has worked in advertising, radio and movie
content aggregation. He was also the first Programming Head of the first radio
station of Radio Mirchi in Indore in 2001.
Speaking on his new role, Gupte said, “Big FM’s vast network and spread
across the country gives us the opportunity to work on a varied audience base
and meet varied entertainment requirements. The programming mix at Big FM is
purely research driven, which is the way forward for a successful programming

Direct flight for Haj pilgrims from Indore to Jeddah
Bhopal (PTI): Haj pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh will have a direct flight from
Indore to Jeddah from next Haj season of 2008.
Indore Properties Online Registration System
Madhya Pradesh PWD and IT minister Kailash Vijavargiya said that
the system of online registration of properties would soon be introduced in Indore.
Addressing a function to inaugurate the Office of Deputy Registrar at
Sukhaliya he said this step was a fresh initiative in the direction of
public facilities’ extension, a official release said.
It is the endeavour of the state government to ensure that common man should
not wander about for day-to-day administrative works, he said.
For this purpose, Vijayavargiya said efforts are being undertaken to make
such arrangements that people can have their works done sitting at home.
Under this new arrangement, people would be able to use internet for getting
certificates, depositing fees and taxes and get many other works done. Besides,
9,000 E-Kiosks are also being set up.
Registry of land and properties in 15 wards of Indore would be made at this
Deputy Registrar’s office, he said adding that target of 10,000 documents’
registration per annum has been set for this office.
District Registrar informed that online registration facility would soon be
introduced in the district.
Sayaji Hotels Indore to develop mid segment budget hotel in Indore
Sayaji Hotels Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at
its meeting held on March 29, 2008, has approved to invest Rs 20.00 crores in
the wholly owned subsidiary Company to promote and develop 175 room mid segment
budget hotel at Indore.
