The city has bagged a big success in Astronomy Olympiad. Six students from all over the country had participated in the competition. They have won 5 Gold and one silver. One of the gold is in the name of a student Chirag Modi, from Indore. Chirag has won this gold in a recent Astronomy Olympiad organized at Hang Zoo, in China. Chirag, a 12th class student, tells that the competition was internationally conducted in three phases and continued from 9th to 15th November. It was based on Theory, Observation and Practical questions. They were asked some astronomy and physiques related questions in Theory part. Their IQ about the Stars and the Sky was tested in second phase i.e. Observation. We were given some data to analyse in specified time in third and last phase.
