What is Indore famous for?

Many people have asked this question many times and here is the answer: Indore is famous for its namkeens (salty snacks).

But thats not the only thing- Its actually famous for its various culinary range of items. Indore is also famous for its glass bangles, wax casted ornaments, leather toys and its special Bhang gota.

Recently, Indore has also been in news for some if its huge and beautiful shopping malls. Treasure Island is one of the best malls in the country, which is at Indore.

Indore is famous for its samosa-kachori and Poha Jalebi. No one who has tasted the poha jalebi in Indore can forget it. Indore was also famous across the country for its textile mills which over time have lost their fame.

Indore's Sarafa is famous for its food court - a full stretch of sweets and namkeen shops that is spread over several meters.

Indore is getting famous for being an educational hub. Its the first city in India to have an IIT and IIM both. Indore is famous for its Medical industry.

There are many reasons for which Indore is known to the world - both good and bad reasons. But in my personal opinion, the best reason for which Indore is famous for is the people of Indore- Indorians.
