Indore - Pithampur SEZ for Pharmaceuticals

Indore - Pithampur SEZ for Medicines and Pharmaceuticals

Pithampur SEZ will grow into a medicine hub. An important meeting that happened in Pithampur regarding the Special Economic Zone SEZ. This SEZ is spread in about 1100 hectare area and has many pharmaceutical, plastic engineering and other units.

In the second phase of the Pithampur SEZ, many more Pharmaceutical industrial units will be established. So far Rs. 1650 crore have been invested here.
With 22 units in operations and 10 units unders construction, the SEZ is ready to pickup pace.

Pithmapur (Indore) SEZ has exported 331.61 crore Rs. worth of commodities so far, and its forecasted to reach 430 crore rs.by March.

Employing about 6380 employees, Pithampur SEZ is soon becoming a lifeline for many in this area.

Very soon, the Pithampur SEZ will become a medicinal and pharmaceautical hub in near future. Medicines and drugs developed here are expected to fulfill the requirements of many countries across the world. There is a huge export opportunity present in the Pithmaput SEZ.

Pithampur is just 1 hour away from Indore city located in the Dhar District and is the industrial hub with many big name brands in auto industry, engineeering, plastics, medicines and many other industries. Some of the companies at Pithampur are IndoRama,Force Motors, Tempo.
