Indore Metro Taxi drivers went on a strike on wednesday. This strike came unannounced and was result of an earlier dispute between a call center employee and a taxi driver. Also, partial reason for this was denial to give taxi to 2 drivers who were found driving under influence of alcohol.

On Monday, 2 drivers were found drunk and as a result, they were denied the taxi on Tuesday. On wednesday, the call center operator and driver had an argument on the same issue - and by afternoon all drivers came and parked their taxi cabs at ICTCL campus - and went on strike.
