Jawahar Marg Indore is going to get an elevated road - a flyover - and the project has got an approval too. Some people are excited about this but some are worried.

This new flyover over Jawahar Marg indore will connect RajMohalla directly to Patel Bridge via the elevated road. The estimation for this bridge completion is about 2 and a half year. The percentage of people directly travelling from Patel bridge to Rajmohalla is very less as Jawahar marg is usually more of a connecting road for the internal colonies in this area.

Jawahar marg connects bombay bazaar, Narsinh bazaar, malganj, rajwada, sanjay setu, nandlal pura, railway station, siyaganj, patel bridge, sitlamata bazaar and many other Indore markets. Jawahar Marg is the lifeline of this area of Indore and a long development process of 2+ years is going to affect many businesses in this area. That is one of the biggest reason business owners on Jawahar marg area are not too happy with this decision and the plan to make flyover on the road.

Along with many businesses, Jawahar marg also has a Gurudwara, Mosque and Hindu Temples along the road. Due to the road work, even the devotees will have to suffer.
