Today is the day to cast vote in 122 areas of the city by 59 Lakh 40 thousand and 572 voters who will decide the lot of Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee Presidents and Constituents in their area. Votes will be cast in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Sagar, Jabalpur, Khandwa, 12 Municipal Corporations, 41 Municipals and 69 Municipal Committees. The ballot staff has been reached to the booths. Ballots will be cast today i.e. Friday. 24 thousand 528 police cops have been deployed on different polling booths. Another ballot would be conducted on 14 December in among 1 Municipal Corporation, 23 Municipals and 122 Municipal Committees.

Indore will decide its 21st Mayor through a ballot cast today. 11 Lakh 33 thousand and 895 voters will elect their local Parshad. There are total 472 candidates from 22 political parties are candidates in elections. Voters are advised not to take some other persons ID card, do not take mobile with 100 meters range of booth, any advertising material of any political party and do not convene a group, rally or crowd near about polling booths as Act 144 will be applicable in the city.
