Indore's oldest Church St. Ains Church (White Church) completed 151 years on 9th august. The church was built in 1858. This church in Indore was funded by Sir Robert North Hamilton of Briting empire. Inspired by European architectecture, The church was designed by Engineer Ross McMohan the white church indore. Hamilton's statue is situated at Lalbagh Indore. White church was founded by Protestant Christians. As of today, it has around 65 members. Along with this Indore also has some other ancient temples and buildings- Sadar Bazaar Idgaah is 200 years old, Topkhana Gurudwara Indore is 80 years old and Akhand Jyoti Temple is 50 years old.
