IIM Professor Amrita Pancholi's Killer: Driver Anil Patel Arrested Anil Patel, the cruel driver of slain professor of the Indian Institute of Management(IIM- Indore) Amrita Pancholi was arrested in Indore yesterday for his connection with her murder. Indore Inspector General of Police Sanjay Rana told reporters that driver Anil Patel barged into Pancholi's house at IIM campus with the motive of committing theft. Anil attempted to carry out theft at Professor's house on December 18. When the professor woke up, Patel threatened her and asked to hand over ATM card and password. "This was followed by a fight and then driver Anil attacked Pancholi with a sharp-edged weapon and killed her", Said Mr. Rana. Patel after committing the murder stayed in professor's house till morning. ''The accused took away professor's mobile phone, ATM card and cash after murder. He gave the mobile phone to his friend Bhavesh Soni who sold it to a shopkeeper'', Mr Rana said. After carrying out detailed investigation, Bhavesh was also arrested as Anil's accomplice in the murder. Trackback(0)
