Khudel Police caught red handed in a case of accepting bribe and leaving the culprits scot-free.  DSP, Indore, in a sudden raid, has seized Ganja (marijuana) from the Khudel police station which was not accounted for into books. It was also informed that the Khudel police has left the smugglers free for Rs.50000, without registering a case. The ASP has suspended the TI on Thursday night and the other staff is also due for strict action.

Two days ago, DSP Headquarter, Manjulata Khatri had suddenly visited Khudel police station and checked the records and conducted a physical verification. She found approx 7 kg. of Ganja there which was no where to be found in police records. Later it was revealed that SP Shree Nivas Verma and Additional SP Satyendra Shukla had received an information a big scam, in NDPS Act, is being plotted at Khudel police station and they both deputed DSP to investigate the matter. Investigation proved that the Khudel police had arrested Nageen , Subhash, Mukesh and Ratan with 11 kg of Ganja just two days back. Later the police negotiated with the culprits and booked only Ratan, with 4.4kg Ganja in the case. It was informed that the TI Dheeraj Roy and other staff had accepted a bribe of Rs.50000 to set all other smugglers scot-free.
