More patients of Swine Flue, than any other months, have been reported this month in the city. It has been made certain that the Swine Flue virus as infected the air of Indore. The disease has not yet spread too much though. The government is taking all necessary measures and Epidemic Act might be enforced, if needed. Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Sudheer Mohanti, convened a meeting of all HDOs at Residency, Indore. He warned all the concerned doctors to not to allow the disease to turn into an epidemic. He informed that there is no need to panic if patients are found SF positive. We have got medicines resources to treat it. The only effective way to control it is to diagnose it in early stage though. Indore being a big town, some private hospitals, too, have been identified. A female patient of Swine Flue has died in Unique Hospital, Annpurna Road, Indore on Thursday. Dr. Sanjay Gujarati, who was attending the patient, informs that we were left with no way but to put the patient on isolated ventilator. Trackback(0)
