A suspected she patient of Swine Flue as succumbed to death on Tuesday. She had symptoms similar to Swine Flue and was admitted in a private hospital. Samples have been sent to a government laboratory in Jabalpur to confirm the disease. Report is awaited to confirm the cause of the death. As per the information received from local sources, one Sonia Gurvindar Kaur, 25, r/o Shyam Nagar was admitted to Bombay Hospital, Indore. She was suffering from Mitral Stenosis and Pulmonary Edima which create problem in breathing and heart both. She was under treatment when she died on Tuesday at 1pm. The concerned doctors suspect it to be Swine Flue and have informed the same to MGM Medical College, Indore. Dr. Sanjay Dixit of the college informs that after receiving this information from the hospital, her sample has been sent to Jabalpur for test. Report is expected to arrive on Wednesday. The diseased girl had returned after a 20 days tour to Gujarat and was ill since after. Doctors say that, if the reports are positive of Swine Flue, other persons who have been in contact with her will also be treated under precautionary measures. Trackback(0)
