With the availability of all the modern machine and instruments required for the surgery, M. Y. Hospital is ahead of all in conducting Joint Replacement Surgery. 30 of these patients, who have got their joints replaced from the hospital, on Wednesday, took part in a Chair Race Competition. They included many senior citizens who have got their hips and knee joints replaced from the hospital. Dr. Sunil Rajan informed that Bilateral Hip replacement surgery is now possible in one go at the hospital. He also informed that both the joints are replaced with artificial limbs through Prosthetic Implant technique. Dr. Rajan has conducted more than 150 joint replacement surgeries so far.
