The Health department, in stead of improving conditions, is busy hiding the actual figures in case of Dengue epidemic. First time on Monday department has accepted that it has received information about 130 Dengue patients from hospitals, which still is much lower than actual figure. The department has failed in its attempt to collect the actual figure of Dengue patients from private hospitals and is trying to evade this situation. Department’s laxity in providing wrong figures during a meeting between the Collector and other health officers has exposed now.  On Sunday, in a meeting Children Health Department at Medical College had reported 230 cases of Dengue but has registered 178 cases only. According to the information sent to Bhopal, there are 308 patients of Dengue in Indore but only 178 of them are found positive in a rapid test conducted in MGM Medical Collage laboratory. The number of patients in private hospitals has been declared to be 178, which is not accurate either.
