12 new cases of Dengue were reported on Saturday. According to officers number of Dengue patients is receding in the city but there has been 250 cases registered for Dengue in last 15 days. Some of these patients are from Indore while many are from near by villages. With this, the total has crossed the figure 2300.

There are many patients whose pathological reports are not confirming the disease to be Dengue but they have been hospitalized with the similar symptoms. Doctors are treating them suspecting it to be Dengue. Earlier, the health department had declared that the number of Dengue sufferers will decrease with the temperature i.e. in winter but 193 Dengue positive cases have been found only in last 10 days. MGM Medical college lab has confirmed 147 samples as of Dengue. Civil Surgeon A. P. Shrivastav informed that number of Dengue patients has lowered now.
