The intensity of Dengue epidemic in the city can be gauged by the fact that 13 people have died of the disease only in Bombay Hospital, Indore, from June to hitherto. Two have succumbed to disease in CHL Apollo during this period. Health Department is accepting these deaths but neither it nor Indore Municipal Corporation has taken any serious measures to control it. There is no specified figure on how many have died of the disease in the city so far. News of 13 people’s death was sent to CHMO by Bombay Hospital. Chief District and Health Officer Dr. Mahesh Patni continued his inspection of hospitals even of Friday, visiting Life Line, Vishesh hospital, Suyash Hospital and inquired about the patient’s state. He confirmed that Dengue patients were found in these hospitals and a cumulative figure is being collected. Various hospitals have sent this information to the department. Trackback(0)
