M. P. High Court has issued a notice to the State Government asking about the installation of three latest machines for proper treatment of Cancer patients. Taking a public plea seriously, the court has demanded a reply before 4th of January by instructing to the concerned departments to put patient’s welfare before anything else. The Chief Justice R. S. Garg and Justice S. K. Seth have issued this notice while hearing a public plea of Satypal Aanand, a trusty of Aanand Trust, Indore. The plea mentions that unavailability of these three machines viz. Linear Accelerator, Computer Treatment Planning System and Computer Tomography is affecting treatment process here. Patients have to go all the way to Bhopal and pay Rs.40 thousand to avail benefits of these machines. The government has replied to that the process has been initiated to procure these machines. The Court has suggested that the government should really think of patient’s welfare than just fulfilling formalities by submitting a reply to the court. Trackback(0)
