Baffled by the sudden rise in mosquito-borne diseases in the state, the Dengu and ChikanGunia Control Board of the state government, in a meeting, has decided to fine Rs.500 to the house owners whose houses would be found generating mosquitoes. The board will be assisted by 15 other state departments to control the diseases. This civil bylaw has been passed by Health Department and Town Planning and Administration Department to control the growth of mosquitoes in the state.

The Health Department in Indore has asked all the private hospitals to send full information and accurate data about Dengu patients coming to their hospitals.
