| The Garba Extravaganza Begins in Indore |

There will be a new event every day. It will be puppets show at a place and dance dram at other, besides the worship of Maa Navdurga. Garba preparations are at its high at all the Garba camps in Indore. The young boys and girls are spending hours in practices sessions to learn new steps. The tents and camps are also being designed with newer techniques to render exotic experience. The participants are gearing up as the day is approaching near. The special Mrishak Garba at Hind Rakshak camp will be a new attraction for the spectators this year. Here the participants will offer worship to Lord Ganesha in the dress-up of a mouse. They will also distribute Laddoos among spectators. This camp will organize the fest at Dussera Maidan from 28th to 6 October. Maharashtra’s Lezim dance will also be a great attraction. The garba camp at Kachchi Mohalla is preparing Radha-Krishan Raas this year. Here approx 200 girls will present Radha-krishna Raas on the religious musical beats. Likewise at Gujarati Navdurga Utsav Mandal at Lalgali classical dance will be the item. Here more than 300 participants are expected to perform this year. Also, in another famous Garba avenue in Indore, at Kankeshwari Garba Mandal, there will be 8 different steps performed, one on each day. Here more than 800 girls of age below 15 years are expected to perform. This will really be a mesmerizing experience for the spectators. The Hind Rakshak Camp has sitting arrangement of 30-35 thousand people, and approx 1000 volunteers are busy in its arrangements. Approx 25 Lakhs rupees will be spent on 8 days event here. Gujarati Navdurga Utsav Mandal has sitting arrangement for 2 thousand people. Approx 35 volunteers are busy in its arrangement and a total expenditure during 8 days event is something in tune of Rs.2 Lakhs. At Kankeshwari camp, 15 thousand people can sit at a time, and approx 700 volunteers are involved. At Kachchi Mohalla, 4 thousand people can be seated, 50 volunteers are busy in arrangements, and expected expenses are something around one and half lakh rupees.
