Like every year, rich with traditions, hospitality and simplicity, the grand shopping extravaganza Malwa Utsav, set off with melodious music and cultural programs  at Lalbag Premises. The fair will continue till 6th October.

Organised by Lok Sanskriti Manch, Malwa Utsav is perfectly reflecting traditions and culture of pure Malwi elegance. The fair is full of handicraft items from all over the city like Carpets from Bhadoi, or iron monuments from Bastar or shoes from Jodhpur. Amidst all this shopping spirits, full entertainment has been provided for children too, be it camel riding, elephant riding, horse riding, etc.

The stage was decorated as replica of Elephenta cave, and the show was inaugurated by Ashtabhuja aarti of Gujarat, Dandia Ras, sword dance, Karnatak drum, Chhattisgar’s Panthi, Karma, Dadariya and Rasdewar, Punjab’s Gidda, Bhangda and Naurta and varios other dances and music programs.
