Indian Institute of Technology will not only carry out its prime aspect of imparting quality education to students of Indore but will take part in development works for the betterment of the city, too. RR Cat and SGSITS are collaborating to align with the city. Besides a most ultra modern lab in the State is also taking shape at IIT campus which will be open not only for IITeans but for all technology students and faculties. Research scholars can conduct their research for PHD here. First time in the country, IIT is permitting full liberation to its faculties. They have been advised to survey around the city, understand industrial requirements and research on new projects. This will provide new and practical knowledge to students in current industrial perspective. Earlier, only higher officers were entitled for this job. IIT believes that this of their effort will not only benefit students but big projects of the city will also be benefited by knowledge of expert faculties.
