A decision of Devi Ahilya University, Indore has created troubles for post graduation students. The university is charging Rs.600 for the exam of M. Com, M. A. and MSC (III Semester) which is not to be conducted at all. This fee is usually charged for paper setting, evaluation and notebooks costs. As per the instructions from Higher Education Department exams will not be conducted for PG 3rd semester now on. Students have to go through job training and prepare a project in stead. Thus only verbal tests will be conducted in university. Despite of this fact the university is charging Rs.600 for exam fees along with the forms. Generally university charges this fee as a paper setting, notebooks and checking or evaluation purpose. Students have registered their opposition against this system while university has not cleared its stand in the matter.
