Yum! Restaurants, a US-based fast food brands operator is planning to introduce its Mexican speciality chain Taco Bell in India. Its first restaurant is being planned to start in October in Bangalore. Taco Bell is one of the popular Mexican fast food chains in the western world. 

Yum! Restaurants operate brands like Pizza Hut and KFC and is now ready to tap the young consumer segment with Taco Bell`s Mexican offerings. It is a great approach to raise its popularity in the Indian fast food market.

Yum! Restaurants would be launching Taco Bell as a new concept for the young India foodies in Bangalore to test the market before undertaking an expansion of the brand. It will come under quick service restaurants (QSR) and will be loved by the Indians due to the spicy Mexican delicacies.

The Louisville (Kentucky)-based company operates over 5,600 Taco Bell restaurants in the US. Yum! Restaurants currently run 50 KFC and 110 Pizza Hut restaurants in India.

Will Yum! start a Taco Bell in Indore too? May be...but we don't know when. Possibly they will be coming up with a franchise option like other fast food chains and you may be able to enjoy the Mexican tacos, burritos and nachos at Treasure Island Mall...at least i wish that!
