For fiscal year 2009-10, Indore Municipal Corporation presented its budget of 13433984000 Rs. Main goal is to complete the mid-way projects and schemes launched by Indore Municipal corporation.

In the proposed budget, indore inc. will have total income of 13405432000 Rs, with an estimated expense of 13433984000 Rs. resulting in a loss of 343188000. This budget was the last budget for current tenure of Mayor Dr. Umashashi Sharma.

Most important sectors in Indore where spending will be seen are:
Roads - 117 crore rs.
Bridges and Flyovers  - 15 crore rs.
Parks - 15 crore rs.
School buildings - 8 crore rs.
Municipal Administration - 8 crore rs.

Budget also has proposed amounts for JNNURM, Project Uday, DFID and other schemes.

JNNURM Proposal:
Sever: 150 crores
Riverside Corridor : 50 crores
Elevated Roads: 15 crores
Housing Development : 30 crores
Garbage Disposal and Management : 35 Crores
Sevage Channelization: 17 crore.
