Indore Dahod Railway project is in doubt because of increasing prices. When the project was first sanctioned, the cost was estimated close to 678.56 Crore Rs., during Feb 2008. Now, the price stands close to 947 crore rs. thanks to skyrocketing prices of cement, iron and steel and labor costs. It may even touch north of 1200 crore by the time the project finishes. The project details a Maksi- Dewas - Indore- Dahod- Godhra rail line out of which a 36 km long Maksi Dewas line has been completed. Trackback(0)
