If you thought Indorians are just fun and food loving people, think again! A team of young Indorians have decided to spread awareness regarding blood donation looking into the seriousness of matter.
They have come together with the Young Indian Group, CII, Red Cross Society and IIPS to create a dynamic model providing a web based database containing information about voluntary blood donors to suffice the blood requirements in the hospitals and various blood banks in the city. There will be soon a call center which will work 24 hrs to help the needy on time.
The student group has already launched a website with the name Anshdaan.org and CII will be the caretaker for the call-center. A good step indeed!

The Indore Marathon 2008- Peace Run was a succesfull event. More than 5000 Indorians participated and the reflected the city’s belief that terror would not cow them down. This October 2nd, the Gandhi Statue at Regal Square in Indore was greeted by a pleasant sight. 7 am saw 5000 odd Indoreans take time out to make a statement by running for peace. The marathon organised by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore was a resounding success. Mr. Vijay Yadav emerged winner of the Indore Marathan, after completing the 10 km run in 38 minutes.
